Verse of the Week23"Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift." Mathew 5:23-24

HELLLOO

So I was asked to update, so I will.

Nothing much been going on around here, though I did realize that instead of like most people going to church 1 day a week and staying at home 6, I go to church 6 days a week and have 1 day off.  That is a little weird but whatever it  is cool.  Okay have fun all and Peace out,

Ryan

Grace Assembly

I went to Grace Assembly today and it seems like a pretty cool place. I was greeted within thirty seconds of entering the door and showed to the college age sunday school, in there we talked about grace.  Then I went to kid's church and hung out there. I figured I go to 5 adult services a week, I can go to kid's church on Sundays.  Anyway, the children's pastor there wants to have a meeting with me so that I can plug in there.  (that was easy).  Cool so that is about it.

God is Awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Last night I went to Phily with a group of my friends from up here, there were seven of us.  Once we got to Phily we drove around for a half an hour trying to find a parking spot, then Josh one of the dudes with me just prayed, "God provide us with two parking spots so that we can go get some cheese steaks."  Right after that we came up to a street named Christian Street and right there were two parking spots.  So, we parked and the first part of the adventure was over. (thank God for anwsering prayers, even the silly ones)

Then we got out of the two cars and started walking, having no idea where we were going.  We ended up asking 4 different people for direction and finally got to the street Geno's was on.  Geno's is where we went for the cheese steaks.  While we were walking down the street, we saw 5 homeless guys accross the street from us, and Aaron my roommate was like, " we should buy them each a cheese steak and give it to them."  So we all decided to do that.

Upon arriving to Geno's we found that they didn't take debit so we had to go get cash, which was fine whatever you know.  Then we went up and ordered our cheese steaks.  I found the shirts that the people who worked there hilarious, the said, "were in America so we order in English."  So anyway after we all got our cheese steaks we stood around our table and prayed over our food then sat down and ate.  Arron and Seth (another guy from my apartment) sat at a table with a father and son because our one table filled up and just talked to that guy. That was cool!

So we all finished eating our steaks, then we went up and ordered 5 more one for each of the homeless guys, then we started back toward our cars and these men.  About 3 blocks away from these guys, we stopped and circled up and just prayed for God's wisdom, and for him to just use us as vessels for his work.  Then we continued on our way.

Once we got to these guys, Josh started talking and just sayed hey we were wondering if guys would like a cheese steak, so that all took a cheese steak.  While they were eating we introduced ourselves and got there names, which are Jimmy, Oscar, Zack, Frank, and Antony.  Josh just spent a few minutes talking to them about Jesus, while we had there ears, then asked if any of them wanted Jesus and/or prayer.  Frank responed first, and asked us to pray for him so we all did.  Then Tony started talking to Aaron and acouple of the others while Josh and I went and talked to the rest of the men there not wanting to overwhelm tony with to many people.

Tony just broke down though, he shared how his fiancee had been raped by a man and how he hated this man.  He was very upset over the whole understandably, but man we he asked us to pray for him and for his fiancee and also he asked how he could get Jesus in his life.  The man was crying and broken (this could only be a God thing because noone of the people in my group had the influence on that man to even make him say a word to us).

The others we prayed for, we prayed healing in Zachs leg and that God hand be upon his life, and the same for the others.

Well, we shook their hands again and said our good byes then started heading back to our cars. Upon arriving at our cars we prayed on more time for safe travels back to campus and that the attitude of God would just remain with us the rest of the way back.  Acourse since we prayed that God had to give us the opportunity to fullfill it.

Long story short a 30 min drive took us almost 3 hours becuase we got lost to no end.  But God's hand was still with us because one car started having a tranmission problem but never broke down, and the other cars gas light turned on just as we got onto campus.

I told this story not as a Ryan thing but to give glory to God and God only for working through an unworthy vessels like me and my friends, and for his grace in protecting us and getting us back to campus safely and with a great attitude (we were smiling, laughing, and having a great time).  To God be the glory.
